I recently got a rental car from Advantage and they were very deceitful and misleading which ended up with me paying over $8.00 per gallon for gasoline, a story I will go into once this site is fully up and running.
For me, it is the principle as I will be spending a lot more money spreading the news about their deceitful practices than it cost me, but I am sick and tired of companies that use deceit and misdirection to increase their bottom line. This is truly the straw that broke the camel’s back.
It is time for consumers to stand up and say no more, which can easily be done by simply no longer doing business with companies that use these deceitful practices.
 

When complete, this will be a place where anyone will be able to share their stories about any deceit used by Advantage and Hertz so hopefully others will choose a different rental company.
I am not sure how to go about verifying the information yet, but if I can figure out a way to verify that someone has canceled a reservation with either Hertz or Advantage, I will personally send them $10.00 which will at the minimum be a free upgrade to a larger car if one wishes. I will have an email set up if anyone has any ideas how I can verify this as I obviously can not be sending $10.00 to everyone who just asks for it. I am allocating $5,000.00 just for this and  hope to add more funds to this later. If not and I do go through the whole amount, at least i will know my efforts cost them 500 customers.
I am obviously not very bright because for that approximately $20-$25.00 they stole from me, I am going to be spending thousands of dollars; but it is strictly the principle and I am sick and tired of walking out my door and having companies trying to steal everything they can get their hands on, all in the name of profit.
I doubt it happens from this but we need a sweeping change in this country and a return to where companies no longer rely on deceit, misdirection and tiny small print to scam every penny they can get from their customers.
